We picked her up late yesterday afternoon, and though a little woozy, she was alert and calm. The cone has to stay on until the stitches come out in 10 to 14 days, and we're going to have to get a slightly larger one — she can manage to reach the stitches and we have to watch her carefully. At least it's a soft one and she can cuddle up easily, recline and nap. Follows Mike around on 3 legs (she will not be denied!) and touched her toes down a bit occasionally, which the doctor said is OK. Overall, her regular sweet patient self. Good to have her back!
