It’s been a slow week in Maddy news and pics. Here’s why: On Monday she had a terrific chase in the Big Dog Run, a lovely sweet greyhound named Paloma loves to be chased and several dogs obliged, including Maddy. Really fast, with twists and turns, 3 times around. She had a great time, but shortly after began to limp a bit (right front leg). Seems to be a muscle strain, not terribly painful — she still wants to play and jump up onto and down off the couch, etc., but we have taken it easy all week, with short neighborhood walks and limited stair climbing or couch jumping (when we are fast enough to head her off and lift her up or down). Getting better, and hopefully after this weekend we can play frisbee again. Here is a shot from the big snowstorm. She looks like a fox, and I love the light and the way her paws are highlighted.
