Epic St. Louis Thanksgiving

This is a long post, so best to break it into sections. Great visit with Mike's mom and Gene in St. Louie. First up: the travel out.

Snooze on the way out. Just 2 hours, mostly snoozing.

Comfy Chair:
Many comfy photos

Mike took the following photos of Maddy in the Chair of Choice.
Why edit when you can post them all?

Outside: The back yard, and the neighborhood.

Come out now! The backyard calls.
Lots o’ frisbee.

The inexplicable reticulated wooden snake was still on the deck — fun!

Loved chasing up and down the hill in the back. Close-up below.

Off-leash training on the low-traffic street out front.
General happiness.
 Hanging out.

A nod to Norman Rockwell. Hey Dad, what’s up?
Good old Weasel wrestle.

Maddy moves in on Marian. Lady (limp dog on the left) is too asleep to notice.
 Naps. Necessary, and often.

Caravaggio light. The dark paneling and bright sun
coming in through the large windows create some
lovely effects.

Heading home.
A little dazed.

Cheerios lined up to help us relax.

What’s that? We're home? Yay!
